A love that's plain and simple you can see it in their eyes
It's the love that's remembered long after they've died
I remember like it was yesterday of a child pure and sweet
An angel sent to us from heaven for the world to meet
I remember the day he came into our lives
He made us happy, he made us sad,
He made us laugh and he made us cry
Lying in his soft blanket, a small bundle of joy
I remember the sweetness of a new baby boy
I remember the day they told us of the pain
It was like the sun was stolen and
Darkness forever would remain
I remember the day when the heavens came
To earth and took our angel away
An angel pure and sweet
An angel the world will never have the chance to meet
He's always remembered in our lives and in our dreams
It's sad to know that sometimes he's the cause of our screams
Now when the tears fall from heaven like rain
I remember him and still feel the pain
But our house is not empty, quite and listen
You'll hear the soft, gentle cries of a child named Christian!
